On Monday, finally, i will begin another trip to Kgalagadi Tranfrontier Park, together with my friend Mario (see his work on 500px here)
The Park is located in a trijunction of South Africa, Botswana and Namibia and consists of the Kalahari Gemsbok National Park on the south african side and
the Gemsbok National Park on the Botswana side.
Having visited the park several times before, i am quite excited to return soon, as it holds a very special place in my heart.
The area has seen some good rain this year already, which is great news for people and nature.
Kgalagadi means “Place of thirst”, by the way…
I can´t wait to see parts of the Auob in flood, and see this arid park in bloom.
Once we return, i´ll give a detailed trip report, including photos, of course.
If you would like to see a portfolio of my trips to the KTP, follow the link below.
Keep your thumbs pressed for us, we´d like to come back with a lot of great sightings in our minds, hearts and Memory Cards 🙂
